About Me
A Delaware native, Matt has been a proud member of EAT since 2005.

Matt began writing plays in 1997. His full-length plays include "The PornoZombies" (published by Original Works) which debuted with the Renegade Theatre Experiment in San Jose and has since been produced every October at Prop Thtr in Chicago. Other full-lengths include "Pixie" and the upcoming "Retreat."

Matt's short plays have been produced in nearly every state (come on, Hawaii!) and 10 countries. They've been published by Playscripts, Original Works, Smith & Kraus, and United Artists. His "Larry Gets the Call" won the Alan Minieri Award at the New York 15-Minute Play Festival, and "The Key to the Mystic Halls of Time" won the L.W. Thomas Award at Theatre Oxford and has since been adapted into an award-winning short film by Archnemesis Productions in Australia.

In 2006, Matt was awarded an Established Artist Fellowship by the Delaware Division of the Arts. He's a proud member of the Dramatists Guild and the Playwrights' Center.

Matt's plays produced bye EAT include:

"Emily Breathes," directed by Ryan Hilliard;
"Larry Gets the Call," directed by Melissa Attebery;
"A Curtain Call to Arms," directed by Deb Guston;
"The Book of Job, Part II: Job Strikes Back," directed by JoEllen Notte.

Matt loves him some EAT. He also loves Tilly and the Wall, great beer, his dog Lenny, and everyone who is unafraid to follow his or her passion.
